Description

As social entrepreneurs and funders, we are interested in systems change because it promises deeper and longer-lasting impact. Systems change also pays off financially, though. A new study by Ashoka and McKinsey shows that even relatively small and targeted systems changes can be worth hundreds of millions of euros per year.

Join this interactive session to learn more about the findings and to discuss how funders can help systems changing social entrepreneurs to capture this huge potential.

Speakers include Odin Mühlenbein, lead of the Ashoka Systems Unit who published the study at Ashoka Germany; Jeroo Billimoria, founder Child & Youth Finance International which has been driving global systems change with 100+ governments and 20k+ partner organisations around the world; François Bonnici, head of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and former founding director of the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Cape Town; and Pip Wheaton, director at Ashoka UK and founder at enke: Make Your Mark.
